About this tournament
Welcome to the 2026 Connecticut Amateur Disc Golf Championship!
This event will be held at over two courses (Panthorn and Wickham) on Saturday and Sunday, June 20-21. This is a PDGA Sanctioned A-Tier. As it is an Amateur Championship, it will only be open to amateur divisions. All players will play 2 rounds on Saturday and 1 round on Sunday.
Please note, you must be a current PDGA member in order to compete in any event that is a B-Tier or higher.
EVENT FEES:
We have set the cost at $60 for all divisions, broken down as follows:
$60 per player broken down as follows:
- $5 to the PDGA
- $5 TD Fee ($1 of which will be donated to our season long charitable donation)
- The remaining will be used to cover player pack costs and any other tournament expenses.
If you would like to sponsor the event, we are offering non-refundable $25 Event Sponsorships. Sponsors will be included in all event communications as well as displayed at tee signs throughout the event.
PLAYER PACK:
Amateur Player Pack will include:
- To be announced
Last year we provided a player pack with a $150 retail value per player. We are working to provide a similar value this year.
FORMAT/LAYOUT:
Saturday - 2 Rounds Shotgun Start at Panthorn
Sunday - Tee Times at Wick
Teeing order for Sunday (subject to change):
FA70 > MA70 > FA60 > FA4 > MA4 > FA3 > MA60 > MA3 > FA50 > FA2 > MA50 > MA2 > FA40 > FA1 > MA40 > MA1
Tee times will be posted no later than 9 PM Saturday night. The earliest possible tee time for Sunday will be 8 AM.
Tentative Layouts (subject to change):
MA1/FA1/MA40/FA40/MA2 - Panthorn: Round 1 Whites, Round 2 Whites; Wick: Standard 18
FA2/MA50/FA50/MA3 - Panthorn: Round 1 Reds, Round 2 Whites; Wick: Shortened 18
FA3/MA60/FA60//MA70/FA70/MA4/FA4 - Panthorn: Round 1 Reds, Round 2 Reds; Wick: Shortened 18
Course notes for each location/layout will be sent out the week leading up to the event.
PARKING:
Panthorn: Please park in the main lot.
Wick: Park in the lot near hole 1. If this fills, please park on the grass on the opposite side of the road from hole 18.
TOURNAMENT CENTRAL:
Panthorn: Tournament central for this round will be located near the entrance to the path to hole 1.
Wick: Tournament central will be located on the grass near the long pin position of 18.
CHECK IN:
All players MUST check in with the site coordinator prior to the start of each round
PLAYERS MEETING:
On Saturday, players meetings will be held prior to the start of each round. A virtual players meeting will be emailed Saturday night for Sunday’s round at Wickham Park.
AWARDS/PRIZES:
Awards for all divisions will be distributed as divisions finish on Sunday.
