About this tournament

The Community Park Doubles Championship! Hosted by the Pearland Degenerates.

BASIC INFO:

2 rounds of unsanctioned doubles at Community parkon April 4th
Round 1 best shot/ Round 2 True alternate shot

HOLE ASSIGNMENTS will be up around 8:30pm on April 3rd, the night before the event.

We will have serveral CTP prizes during both of the rounds.
TBD on holes for those CTP's.

There will be plenty of water and snacks throughout the course during both rounds

Lunch will be able to be purchased on site courtesy of Taqueria Del Sol

NO SANDBAGGING RULE

While this is not a sanctioned event, we are still going to follow the rules of sanctioned tournaments in that every member of your team must meet the pdga rating requires to play that divison.

Ie if you and your partner are signing up in ma3 you both need to be under 899 rated at the time of the event. If one of the team members is over the rating cap, both players are playing in the divison of the higher rated player, we are not taking the average of the 2 ratings.

If you have a pdga number you must sign up with it and I will check your rating. If your number is not active I will be using my own discretion in assigning you a division I deem appropriate (spoiler its atleast MA1, maybe MPO)

FORMAT:

2 rounds at Community Park in Missouri City

Round 1 best shot/ Round 2 True alternate shot

We will be playing the regular tees to the YELLOW BASKETS for BOTH rounds. NO ALT TEES OR BLUE BASKETS

We will be using Udisc scoring for this event.

Players Meeting: 8:30 am @ Hole 1
Round 1 Shotgun Start: 9:00 am
Lunch Break 1-1.5 hour after last card finished round 1
Round 2 Shotgun start: 1:00 Pm(ish)

Event Conclusion, onsite payout and trophy ceremony. Trophies for divisions with at least 3 teams by March 22nd. Trophies for first place teams only, both members of the team will get a trophy

ENTRY FEE BREAKDOWN:

Every team
$20 to run the event, trophies, snacks, foods etc
$60 to payout
Top 33% in each division receive CASH PAYOUT. We will not payout more than 5 places, this doesnt come matter until 15 or more teams sign in a single division, this in an effort to reward winners for winning their divisions.
