About this tournament
2 rounds of play
A fundraiser doubles tournament that will test your drive placement and long putting skills! Proceeds will go towards materials for walls on the island green on hole 9.
Lunch/snacks and a small player pack will be included for everyone.
Divisions: Open, Intermediate, Casual and Coed. Open teams will be competing for payouts.
Layout: on open greens, inside the circle will play as Hazard (lava) for the Open division. Intermediate, Casual and Coed will have a smaller circle (likely between 20-25ft). For greens with trees and bushes, both size hazards will be reduced to reflect the terrain and obstacles. About half the holes will have a short tee for Casual and Coed (orange flags).
On the line? For this event, a disc is considered safe if any part of it is touching or outside the painted line/circle. A disc completely inside the paint will be played from that lie with a 1 stroke Hazard penalty. Normal disc marking rules apply, so don't use a mini if it puts you in the lava ;)
Free relief from briers. Mandos in play on 13 and 14. Short tees are the drop zones.
Open: concrete tees to big hazards (white paint)
Intermediate: mostly concrete tees with a few short tees (white flags) to small hazards (orange paint)
Casual/Coed: mostly shorter tees (orange flags) with concrete on 2,3,9,12 to small hazards (orange paint)
