About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Chilly Chains is back! For the second year, Chilly Chains Challenge is a fall/winter series of events touring to Kamloops courses. This event is a low-cost fundraising event meant to keep players competitive and working on their ratings over the winter months.
This event will be a sanctioned PDGA C tier. Non-members will be charged a $10 non-PDGA member fee in lieu of membership. If you don't yet have your PDGA Membership for 2025, join the Kamloops Disc Golf Club to get a $5 discount with your affiliate code from the club!
The Chilly Chains Challenge Series are working to raise funds for a throwing net in the practice area at Rose Hill Disc Golf Course, and fairway beautification and upgrades for hole 7. We are hoping to raise $3000 for these projects! This is a KDGC Fundraiser Series with a low cost of entry to allow you a small player's pack, small trophies for 1st place, no added cash for pros and a great sense of community.
Chilly Chains Challenge Three will be held at Westsyde Centennial Disc Golf Park. This event is volunteer run and follows PDGA and City Park ByLaws.
There will be 2 or 3 layouts in play, depending on registration.
Player Check in after 8:45am.
Player meeting at 9am and shotgun start at 9:20am.
I don't expect the round will take very long, and we will break for lunch and plan to start round two for 12:15pm.
If we find that we need more time for lunch, we will adjust this but please be nearby ready to start for 12:15.
Awards Ceremony: after the 2nd round and any neede playoffs complete.
Sunset: 4:21pm
Times are subject to change but all registered players will be kept informed.
Pass through fees:
Insurance ($2)
PDGA Player fee ($2)
KDGC Green Fee ($10 -this is part of our funds raised!)
Player's Pack:
Collectible puzzle piece
Other items (like last year)
