    Tournament can be a scary word, and we have a lot of new players on the disc golf scene for this day so when you read tournament, I'd like you to read it and hear that word as celebration instead. That is what Sunday's NB CWE is really all about. Celebrating Women Disc Golf Players. The thing I love most about this game is that yes you are competing on a card against card mates but every time I'm on the course playing, the biggest competition is usually against myself. I'm always competing against myself and what I know I'm capable of and what the course and weather will demand of me on that day and that is the best way I can describe the competitive drive I have for disc golf. I know a few of us share the same thoughts on this. We are so excited to have planned this day for you and can't wait to hear all the laughter and cheers ringing in the woods at CDT!!

    TIME:
    Please be there by 9:30 to register and collect your player's pack as we have a shot gun start at 10am and you can check online at PDGA for your starting Hole here: https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/67066

    CTP:
    Each Card will have an opportunity to win closest to pin on HOLE 2 and the prizes are sweet!!!
    Please check in at lunch to tell Jolene, Jessica, or Nathalie who the card winner was.

    SCORING:
    It is best practice to have 2 members keep score per card, you can download the PDGA Live App for scoring on your phone from playstore or the app store or you can use this link:

    OB:
    quick tip: you will have to play 1 meter back from where you disc first went out of bounds, so keep an eye on your disc flight
    Hole 1, anything over the fence will be counted as OB and add a stroke to the score.
    Hole 6, 7 & 10 any disc that lands in the water will be counted as OB and adds a stroke to your score.

About this tournament

The Maritime Discy Chicks are excited to host the first ever NB CWE!!

Created to fill the gap year between PDGA Women’s Global Events (WGE), the CWE is a grassroots event organized by women disc golfers across Canada to encourage women to get out and play. Similar to the WGE, participants will play two disc golf rounds at their local CWE and, once the numbers are tallied, will be able to see how their scores compare to the other participants across the country!

Please join us at CDT on June 11th for one of the best games of all time! Players of all ages and disc golf experience are welcome and encouraged!

Registration
Online DiscGolfScene registration opens April 12, 2023 at 8pm ADT.

Cost: $35 all divisions; any Martitime Discy Chick Club Member can receive $5 off with code MDC at registration.

Registration includes PDGA fees, course fees, and your players’ pack - featuring a custom stamp Latitude 64 Premium plastic disc and G.O.A.T. Towel plus other cool items!
