Friday Night Dinner at Neng Phochana Restaurant! Neng Phochana is a long time supporter of Chiang Mai Disc Golf. They have the best value delicious Thai cuisine that you will ever eat. They are usually a breakfast and lunch restaurant, but for this one evening only, they will have their doors wide open for Disc Golfers until 9:20pm!
The Chef, Pi Neng, makes incredible dishes at lightning speed, but please do keep in mind that this is a small restaurant, so please be patient and enjoy your cold beverages while your food is prepared. In addition to their incredible food, they will have ice cold beers as well as soft drinks available at very low prices. Feel free to come as early as you like. It is going to be a great experience! About this tournament
CMO is proud to be the 4th event on the inaugural 2026 PDGA Asia Tour Powered by Yikun Discs and Presented by Chain Disc Golf!
CMO is a PDGA B-Tier event which will take place February 6th-8th 2026 at Sand Creek Disc Golf Course in Chiang Mai, Thailand. 2026 PDGA Asia Tour Divisions for the Chiang Mai Open
-Long Layout Divisions (recommended only for those that can throw 90+ meters):
MPO, FPO, MP40, MA1 (suggested ratings 936-969), MA2 (max rating 935)
-FPO, MP50 and MP60 will play a unique layout which mixes short and long tees.
-Short Layout Divisions:
FP40, FP50, MA40, FA40, MA50, FA50, MA60, FA60, MJ15, FJ15
FA1 (suggested rating 826-875), FA2 (max rating 825), MA3 (max rating 900), FA3 (max rating 775),
MA4 (max rating 850), FA4 (max rating 725)
-CMO will have a staggered tee time time start beginning at 9:30am each day. The order of tee times will be as follows:
FJ15, MJ15, FA4, MA4, FA60, MA60, FA50, MA50, FA40, MA40, FA3, MA3, FA2, FA1, FP50, FP40, MA2, MA1, MP50, MP40, FPO, MPO.

-The fee for all Amateur divisions is 2500 baht.
-The fee for all Pro divisions is 4000 baht. 1500 baht per Pro entry fee goes into the cash prize pool. Amateurs playing in pro divisions may not receive prizes or merchandise in lieu of cash. If an amateur declines cash then the money will be given to the next spot.
-Ace Pot is an additional 100 Baht per person
-Please note that this year we will be renting out the entire golf course for all 3 days of CMO which is great as disc golf has exclusive use from Friday to Sunday! However, this also means that the price we pay to rent the facility has literally doubled from last year which is why the tournament fee is a little bit higher. Thanks so much for understanding everyone! For all divisions registration fees cover tournament greens fee costs, gifts from our amazing sponsors, awards for our top finishers and more goodies to be announced as the tournament approaches and sponsors are confirmed!
Players may register and pay with PayPal via discgolfscene. Alternatively, players with a Thai Bank account may contact Tournament Director Aaron Herman and register directly with him. All 2026 CMO players must be current PDGA members.
There will be complimentary round trip Van & Songthaew transport from the Sunny V Tournament Hotel (see below) to Sand Creek each day of the tournament (February 6th,7th & 8th). Departure times will be posted in the future on the Chiang Mai Open Facebook Event Page (link below).
We are elated to announce that Sunny V will once again be the official tournament hotel for CMO. Sunny V is a 4 star hotel with huge rooms that are absolutely gorgeous. They have a great swimming pool. It is a short motorbike or taxi ride to the old city and the bar streets. It has easy access to the highway in order to travel to and from the course. Sunny V will also be the pickup drop off point for tournament transport. The hotel will be full so please get your room early.

More information for the 2026 PDGA Asia Tour:
1. Each tournament will offer all of the above divisions, and all divisions that have at least one player registered will be included as part of the event.
2. Players must compete in a minimum of 2 tournaments in order to qualify for Tour standings.
3. Players may compete in as many tour events as they wish, but only their top 4 scoring finishes will be counted towards their final Tour points.
4. Most tournaments will offer a “Long” and “Short” layout. Although these layouts will be course specific, in general, long layout divisions are only recommended for players who can consistently throw over 90 meters.
5. Tournaments may offer additional divisions, however, only the divisions listed will earn Tour points.
6. Players may only earn Tour points in the division they compete in for their first Tour event. If a player chooses to play a different division in a subsequent event then they would not earn Tour points for that tournament.
7. Points Allocation: 1st Place = 100 Points, 2nd Place = 90 Points, 3rd Place = 85 Points, 4th Place = 80 Points, 5th Place = 75 points…all the way down to 5 points for 19th Place.
8. In order to qualify for Tour prizes andor to receive gifts from Tour sponsors, players must be current PDGA members before competing in their first Tour event.
9. Top tour finishers will win cash andor prizes.
10. Any player that participates in all 7 tour events will receive a special award.
