About this tournament

3 rounds of play
The Cherokee Fall Classic at Fire Mountain Disc Golf Sanctuary is a 2-day, 3-round C-Tier, Trophy-Only event held on one of the most beautiful and challenging courses in North Carolina.

MPO, FPO, MP40, and MA1 will play 2 rounds of a short layout on Saturday, followed by 1 round of a long layout on Sunday. All other divisions will play 3 rounds of the short layout (2 Saturday, 1 Sunday).

In the first edition of this annual event we want to build an unforgettable "destination" disc golf experience you'll want to add to your calendar every year.

Each registrant will receive a unique, hand-made glass mini marker disc from Emily Powell Glass. Division awards will also be custom-made glass. Number of trophies per division (1-4) dependent on division size.

Free donuts during Saturday sign-in, and free pastries along with hot beverages Sunday.

Optional putting competition runs all weekend for only $2.

This will be a weekend you can enjoy with family and friends, even those who haven't (yet) become hooked on disc golf. Fire Mountain Disc Golf Sanctuary is located on a forested plot along the pristine Raven Fork River on the lands of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians in Cherokee, NC. Local attractions include the Blue Ride Parkway, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Harrah's Cherokee Hotel & Casino Resort, Fire Mountain Trails mountain bike facility, Museum of the Cherokee Indian, as well as local hiking, tubing, fly fishing, shopping, and arts and crafts.
