Welcome to the 2nd Annual Champoeg Showdown! This event will be a 4 man scramble, best disc event. We will have a very exciting 36 hole layout that uses the standard Champoeg course as the foundation and ventures around the surrounding area to create a fun challenge for any level of player. We will be offering 3 division to choose from. Pro - 965 rated and up, Advanced - 911-964 rated, and Intermediate - <910 rated. And this whole event will be cash in, cash out. You heard that right. All divisons are playing for cash in this non-sactioned event. What a wonderful way to start the summer season. Show up to the Showdown and let those discs fly!

There will be some exciting new holes to play with OB's lines and islands to find. Some custom throws will be coming your way (forehand only on the drive......) and with 4 to throw for the dough this event is destined to be nothing short of spectacular. Teams must play to the highest rated player on the team. If you do not have a PDGA rating for us to make sure your team is in the correct division we will use a Team Golf rating if you happen to play in one of those leagues (Team Golf Elite or Standard Team Golf). If there is no one on your team with a sustained rating then you are still welcome to play in the Pro division. The Champoeg Disc Golf Club reserves the right to place a team in a division other than the division of the teams choosing if we find something to dictate what division a team should be playing in. If a team disagrees with this simply provide the information needed to place into the correct division. All players are welcome to play.

This event is brought to you by, The Champoeg Disc Golf Club. Any issue or rules decision will be at the clubs discretion. 1/4 of the teams in each division will get paid cash at the end of the event. In the event of a tie for cash tiebreakers will be handled as follows -
-If someone on your team got an ace during the round, your team places higher in a tie. If 2 or more teams have an ace then just these teams will throw for position.
-If your team cards an eagle on a hole, your team places higher in a tie. If 2 or more teams have an eagle then just these teams will throw for position.
- All remaining teams tied for a cash place will go to a Showcase Throwdown. The throw off will occur where the club deems at that time. Each player on the team will get one throw. Closest to the target places higher.

We will be using Udisc to keep score. This will allow teams to track scores as the event goes on and it will streamline the scorekeeping process and final tally. This does mean that at least 1 player on each team needs to have a Udisc profile. I will create the teams in Udisc beforehand and use the registration emails and information to attempt to connect all players to Udisc. If your discgolfscene email/profile name is different from the email/profile name you use for Udisc simply send me an email to help me connect everyone. No matter what happens we will make this work.
