About this tournament
1 round of play
Did everyone have a great time at Chains and Grains East?!? Well get ready to do it again because its time for Chains and Grains West! Chains and Grains West will be taking place at Johnson Farms.
The tournament itself is the same as years past, but if you are unfamiliar here is the rundown. One round of disc golf (18 holes). After completing your round the beer festival/Homebrew Competition starts. All players (21 and older) are able to walk around and try all the homebrew that has been entered and vote for their favorite. Once the round scores are calculated the winners are announced. There will be a bunch of prizes for winners and there will also be a bunch of prizes for CTP's. We will probably have some other disc golf oriented games going on during the beer tasting.
All players will receive a premium tournament stamped disc and a custom tournament glass for the beer tasting.
There will be live music from Cait Yandell and Joe Gilmore.
We will have a 9 hole Glow Course set up for evening rounds.
If you are interested in making beer for the tournament (even if you don't have experience) send me an email [email redacted]. People that enter a beer into the competition get a discount on their entry into the disc tournament.
To register as a homebrewer or as a spectator visit https://graniterunbrewers.com/chains-and-grains/
More details will be added as I figure them out.
