Chain Reaction is a high-energy disc golf putting competition built for everyone — from first-time players to seasoned disc golfers. Every event features a single elimination bracket format with competition styles based on turnout:
8 or fewer players: Singles bracket
8+ players: Random doubles bracket
Your $15 entry includes:
✅ Entry into the putting competition
✅ VIP early-access pro-led skills session
✅ A chance to sharpen your putting before competition begins
We also feature bonus tech disc challenges throughout the event, including:
⚡ Distance competition
⚡ Speed competition
Prizes for top throws and exact speed guesses
30% of all entry fees are paid out to the winner or winning team.
Whether you’re coming to compete, improve your game, or just hang out with the community, Chain Reaction is all about good vibes, fun competition, and hitting big putts.
First Throw was founded by Dillan Martinez and his family, who all share a love for the sport and the community that surrounds it.
What started as weekends at local courses has grown into a vision for building something bigger: organized, welcoming, high-energy disc golf experiences for players of all levels.
While Dillan is the face of our coaching and events this is truly a family-built, community-driven effort. His passion for the game, combined with our family’s commitment to community, is what makes our events feel different: relaxed, inclusive, and genuinely fun.
We believe:
- Disc golf should be approachable
- Improvement should feel exciting, not intimidating
- Competition and community can go hand-in-hand
- Everyone deserves a place on the course
