About this tournament

2 rounds of play
The Catamount Challenge at Fontana Village is a 1-day, 2-round C-Tier at the Fontana Village Resort disc golf course in Fontana Dam, NC. PRO & AM divisions are available.

All proceeds from this event will go to support the WCU Club Disc Golf student team.



Registration:

Registration opens Jan. 1 2024 and closes at 11:55 pm on March 21. No division changes permitted after close of registration.



Prizes & Payouts:

AM players packs ($20 merchandise voucher) and payouts will be through our vendor, AVL Disc Golf, who will be on site throughout the day. Total AM payout (players pack + division awards) will be 100% of net entry fees.

PRO payouts will be in CASH and will pay 85% of net entry fees (because this is a fundraiser event, payout will be 85% rather than 100%...thanks for understanding!).

Ace Pot will be available for $2 at sign-in.

Various FREE CTP prizes will be offered, including my famous "Gourmet Bread CTPs."




Lodging:

Layouts:. FA/MA4, FA3, FA/MA60+, and FP/MP70+ will play the short layout both rounds. All other divisions will play shorts first round and longs second round.

Lunch:

Box lunches (vegetarian and non-vegetarian) are available for pre-order at the time of registration. There is an on-site restaurant, but players will be unlikely to complete their lunch during the allotted lunch break time. An on-site "country store" and nearby gas station also have some options. If you don't want to use any of the previous, please bring your lunch!

Refund policy

WCU Club Disc Golf is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.

No division changes after registration closes.
