About this tournament
2 rounds of play
An unsanctioned BYOP doubles two round tournament at one of the oldest courses on the east coast! $10 from each team's entry fee will be donated to the Calvert Flyers Disc Golf Club, with the rest going straight to payouts! No player packs for this event either, further increasing the payouts. Please pick the division that seems most appropriate for your team, the event is meant to be as fun as possible. Scoring will be on U-Disc Live.
Gold/Rose Payout - PayPal
Silver/Bronze Payout - Merch bucks/voucher (vendor TBD)
There will be separate CTP's for each division, with each division having at least 1 CTP per round. Ace Pot will be joined with the Calvert Flyers Disc Golf Club's Ace Pot.
Round 1:
18 holes of best shot from the White tees.
Lunch:
Bring your own lunch.
Round 2:
18 holes of best shot from the Red tees. Be ready for birdie mania.
What is best shot doubles?
When most disc golfer's hear "doubles," Best Throw (sometimes called Captain's Choice or Best Disc) is what first comes to mind. As the name suggests, it's when a team always picks the best throw from one of the team members as its lie. Team members do not have to throw from the same lie.
This format is a great way for beginners to enjoy rounds more and learn from players with more experience. The ability to always choose the best throw is likely to yield far better results than newer players are used to. And if they're teamed up with a player with more skill and knowledge, they could get advice and tips for improvement or learn just by watching.
*100% of entry fees will be used towards payouts and tournament costs (city permits, CTP items, etc).

Refund policy
Jeremy Ginnever is responsible for all refunds and cancellations. Full refunds minus PayPal fees will be available until 10 days before the event. Within 10 days of the event, refunds will be contingent upon if your spot is filled by another team.
