About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Disc Golf Saskatchewan is proud to host the 2023 Canadian Women’s Event: Sunday Chick Flicks disc golf tournament!
On and around May 14th, women from across the country will play two rounds of disc golf at a local participating Canadian Women’s Event (CWE). The event is a space to explore competitive play and kick off the disc golf season with our great community of female, female-identifying players, and Junior players. While recommended, you do not require a current PDGA membership to participate. All PDGA non-member player fees are waived for all divisions at the event to increase the accessibility to new players.
Kadie Hozempa is the TD for this event. Reach out to [email redacted] with any questions.
We would like to welcome you to Murray’s Disc Golf Course, in Watrous Saskatchewan. This is a PDGA C-Tier sanctioned tournament.
A little division help, this is just my opinion:
FPO is for the highest performing players, it's formally called: Pro
FA1 is formerly called: Advanced.
FA40 is a competitive age-protected division
FA2 is formerly called: Intermediate, for intermediate players!
FA3 is formerly called: Recreational, in my mind this would be for players of intermediate levels who aren't really in it for score, just want to have some fun.
FA4 is formerly called: Novice, this would be for those who consider themselves beginners.
Your best bet is to take a look here: https://www.pdga.com/divisions#amateur at the PDGA Guidelines for divisions for help choosing!
Your Caddy Book will be e-mailed to all registered players. First Round will begin at 10:00 am. There will be 2 rounds of 18 holes played by each player with a lunch break between rounds. The second round will begin at 1:30 pm. Stop by the registration table at 1:00 pm to learn your second round hole assignment. Scoring will be done using PDGA scoring in place of paper scorecards. We ask that when you arrive for the tournament you come to the registration table and sign in. Player Packs will be handed out when you sign in at tournament headquarters. We will hold a quick player meeting at 9:30 am to discuss any questions, concerns, or changes at this time.
Refund Policy:
