About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Redeemer University and Haute Goat Disc Golf are excited to host the first College Disc Golf Regional Qualifier ever in Ontario. This October we are inviting all of the CDG teams within range to come to Haute Goat and compete in this three round - two day team event.
This event is a Regional Qualifier open to all full or part time college students with active College Disc Golf memberships. Top Teams will compete for one D1 bids and two D2 bids to the 2025 College Disc Golf National Championships in Rock Hill, SC.
We are expecting some teams from the adjacent states of New York, Pennsylvania and Michigan to consider coming to play, you won't be disappointed. Haute Goat is a fabulous course that will have just finished hosting the Innova Rip DGPT Q-Series A-tier tournament a couple of weeks earlier. The course is in top form with a diversity of layouts and challenges to prepare you for Rock Hill. Check out the Innova Rip website to get a better understanding of the course and venue:

If you are a new CDG Team, or hoping to be one, please reach out directly to us and we can help you get started and connected with the College Disc Golf Team. Any college or university is likely eligible, head to the CDG website for more details:

If you are registering a female team of two, DiscGolfScene will ask for four players, so please just fill in duplicate entries and we will delete them after you register.
All teams are invited to spend the Friday before at Haute Goat practicing and enjoying the farm. We'll be planning some fun extra activities that day, maybe a few contests, hopefully a CDG dinner at the Screaming Goat Cafe on-site and a GLOWIE round on the Pink Goat Aceplace that evening. We do tournaments well at Haute Goat.
Schedule for those from away:
Friday - Travel to Port Hope
Friday - Practice - Fun - Dinner - (to be finalized)
Saturday AM - Round 1 - Singles Play
Saturday PM - Round 2 - Team Play
There are some hotels close to the course, and a great camping resort just down the road. Haute Goat is in Port Hope, which is less than an hour from downtown Toronto. Port Hope is only 15 minutes from the course.
We are opening this event to our local disc golf community who would like to try this exciting team format, just give us a week or so to see how many CDG teams we attract. If you are a local high school with a disc golf program, please reach out too, we also think this might be a great opportunity for high school teams to participate alongside the college students, just for fun and glory, but still exciting. Please consider this a 'fundraiser' for the CDG event, we're doing our best to keep the costs down and yet offer these teams a great weekend experience at Haute Goat.
If you are interested in supporting this event or need more information please reach out directly to the Darrell Bankes at [email redacted]
