About this tournament

It's time for the coldest, most fun day you'll have at Kentwood - The Raleigh Winter Jam! As always, this will be a 2-round, PDGA XC-tier benefitting the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina. This event has raised nearly $30,000 over the preceding 18 years, providing close to 150,000 meals for families in need! We are proud to continue to support this important cause for many years to come.

Backed by Your Favorite Mortgage Lender (and Kentwood Disc Golf Club president) Mike Kirsch of Kirsch Lending, The Raleigh Winter Jam features two rounds on the second-oldest course in North Carolina (with two additional temp holes), plus a safari Final Nine for the top finishers in MPO that is always a crowd favorite. With various CTPs, an optional ace pot, and more, Winter Jam is an annual highlight on the Raleigh disc golf calendar. Don't miss out, make sure to register ASAP!

Pass-thru fees:
$3 PDGA per-player fee (PDGA donates this to the charity as part of the Competition Endowment Program)
$3 TD fee (also donated to the charity as per the guidelines of the Competition Endowment Program)
$1 per player to cover sanctioning and supplies, anything leftover is added to the donation
Balance of entry fee to trophies and player packs/pro payout
Pro divisions will have full payout through PayPal. Am divisions will receive a player pack consisting of a custom event stamped Discraft disc, an event-stamped long-sleeve UPF 50 performance shirt, and will have trophies for top finishers.

Please note: Divisions without any registrants after one week of general registration will be vacated.

THE FINAL NINE:
A chance to play in the Final Nine of the Raleigh Winter Jam has become a bucket-list item for many local disc golfers. With a full gallery watching, the top four players in MPO compete on the safari layout for the Winter Jam Championship. It's truly one of the most fun and memorable parts of the event, year after year, and one where legends get made and tales get written.
NEW THIS YEAR!: As the MPO finals, a spot playing in the Final Nine has been essentially unattainable for the lady disc golfers amongst us, and it's time for that to change. Starting this year, the FPO champion will earn a spot in the Final Nine (in a exhibitionary status) and gets the chance to leave her mark on Winter Jam lore for years to come!

Final 9 layout:
1 – Temp tee at bathroom to 2’s basket
2 – 3’s tee to 4’s basket (marked tree before creek on 3 is mando left)
3 – 5’s tee to 14’s basket
4 – 15’s tee to 4’s basket
5 – Temp tee on sidewalk near bathroom to 1’s basket
6 – Temp tee in 10’s fairway to 11’s basket
7 – 14’s tee to 15’s basket
8 – 16’s tee to 17’s basket
9 – 18’s tee to 9’s basket

Tournament staff reserves the right to cancel the final 9 due to daylight, weather, etc. Should this occur, the person leading after 40 holes will be the winner of the open division.

You won't want to miss the fun, the glory, and the legend at the 19th Annual Raleigh Winter Jam! See you there!
