The Buckeye Classic is returning once again in 2024. This year will be a tee-timed event and everyone will play one course per day over two days.

Round 1: Alum Creek State Park
Round 2: Brent Hambrick Memorial

Payouts will be handled at Brent Hambrick Memorial after round 2.

Formats:
MPO/FPO/MP40/MA1 will play the Longs at both courses.
MA40/MA2 will play a combination of short and middle tees (where available) at Alum Creek, and Longs at Brent Hambrick.
All other divisions will play short tees at both courses.

Tee order for divisions will be as follows starting at 8am
MA50, FA3, FA2, FA50, MA4, MA3, MA2, MA40, MA1, MP40, FPO, MPO

We will be using not one, but TWO holes from the BHMO Pro Gold layout at Brent Hambrick! This will give higher divisions a par 5 to play and lower divisions two, still manageable, par 5s! Instead of the usual skipping of 5 and 6, we will skip 4 and 5 to play the first Gold layout hole from 6 to 7s basket. The 2nd Gold hole will be 14-A's basket. We will add holes B and F to still allow for 18 holes!
The 18 hole layout we will use at Hoover is...
1, 2, 3, 6 to 7's basket, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14-A's basket, B, F, I, 15, 16, 17, 18

Player pack will be a Stokely Discs Cardinal from their "Artist" line and a Carbon fiber event engraved mini.

For me the Cardinal fits right between a buzzz and a buzzz os.
Discs are premium plastic, white top and bottom stamped so people can get them dyed.
Carbon Fiber Event minis are being manufactured by our very own assistant TD John Bumpus at JD Bumpus LLC. They look super cool, ultra lightweight, you almost won't even notice it's in your pocket, and good luck trying to break them!

Pro payouts will be paid via PayPal. Amateur payouts will be provided by the Columbus Flyers Disc Golf Club and payout slip MUST be picked up the day of the event, no exceptions. Payout slips may be retained by the players for use at a later event.
