About this tournament
1 round of play
The Chain Breaker Combo is a one-of-a-kind tournament. It is the "Combo" because it is a combination SINGLES and DOUBLES tournament.
It is a one-round event.
The Chain Breaker Combo is a fundraiser for Impact Cambodia, which serves the significant orphan population in Cambodia, and a portion of the proceeds will go towards the purchase of alternate baskets for Broken Chains.
Here is how the one-round tournament will work: Three scores will be kept for each two-person team. Two of the scores will comprise team member individual scores for the round, and the third score will be the combined score (doubles score) of the team members.
Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded for the top three places in the DOUBLES competition, which is one division for all teams.
The individual competition will have the following divisions and be divided into TWO layouts (original and alternate). One team member will play the original layout, and the other team member will play the alternate layout. Medals will be awarded for the winner of each division in each layout.
The doubles competition score will simply be both team members individual scores added together.
Men's 17 and under
Men's 18 to 49
Men's 50 plus
Women's 17 and under
Women's 18-49
Women's 50 plus
Following the round a light lunch will be provided while the tournament directors are calculating the results, and the awards ceremony will follow.
