About this tournament
1 round of play
Welcome recruit! Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to survive Bootcamp, a 9 week (hole) excursion on the Short course of Cane Ridge to train you in the basics of disc golf. You will then immediately be shipped to your duty station (Wartime), the Advanced Course at Cane Ridge, where you will finish out your duty through all 18 holes! Only the best will survive, and only the greatest will rise to the top! Do you have what it takes to survive, Bootcamp and Wartime?!?
This is a TROPHY ONLY fundraiser for a local veteran or Veteran Family!
Please read below about the donation
Flex start from 0900-1300 (9am - 1pm)
27 holes at Cane Ridge Park
You will play the front 9 holes of Cane Ridge Short.
(Typical Military Boot Camp is 9 weeks long)
Then you play all 18 holes of Cane Ridge Advanced.
(After completion of training you go to your active duty station to finish out your obligation.)
Can you complete your duty on this unique sanctioned layout or will you be “course”-martialed?
After completion of the rounds for the day (approximately 1700hrs or 5pm) we will be having a Retirement/Awards Ceremony, Live raffle drawing (Raffle prizes provided by Another Round Nashville), happy hour, and fun and games at Another Round Nashville, 12647 Old Hickory Blvd. Cane Ridge, Tennessee 37013
In order to be eligible for a trophy, your division must have at least three players pre registered by October 20, 2025.
About The Donation:
This year for Veterans Day, the VDGC-MTC has decided to raise funds for a local Veteran in need or Veteran Family that has been affected by a Veteran’s suicide. ALL money raised from this event will go to said veteran or family. The donation will be made through our partnership with Music City Disc Golf, a 501c3 charity.
Who will get the donation? (Updated)
(Submitted by his team leader:)
David Renato Flores is a 24-year-old Marine veteran and a valued member of our Metro Park team. He has always carried himself with strength, dedication, and a deep commitment to serving others both in his military service and in his daily work with us.
Recently, David has been facing one of the toughest battles of his life. After undergoing surgery that, unfortunately, was not successful, he is now preparing to begin chemotherapy. Despite these challenges, his courage and determination remain unshaken.
David is more than a coworker he is a friend, a leader, and an inspiration. At just 24, he has already given so much of himself to his country, his community, and his work family. Now, as he faces this new fight, we want to rally around him with the same strength and support he has always shown others.
“22” Veterans a day succumb to mental health issues.
If you are or know a Veteran having a mental health crisis
The National Veterans Crisis Line is available
