Event update :

Thank you so much for singing up for the Blue Moon Doubles in support of PFLAG Durham and Queer Disc Golf. We’ve got a small but mighty group (30 or so of us signed up).

We are going to be planning for a group start between 7:30-7:45 pm to make sure at least a good portion of the round is in under the Blue Moon. If you have a partner you would like to play with, you can let me (Andi) know or you can update the Blue Moon Disc Golf Doubles page yourself (We have added everyone there through their PDGA # and Email). In terms of food- last call for dinner orders will be 6:30. We encourage you to come earlier, enjoy a few drinks and some food before we head out for the round. The focus for this event is fun, think large cards, chill vibes and a nice switch up from the more competitive aspects of the weekend. We will be hoping to have the beverage cart up and running for anyone that would like to purchase beverages. Welcome to the Blue Moon Doubles Charity Fundraiser event, presented by Queer Disc Golf in partnership with TinLid, Innova and the Haute Goat Farm.

Haute Goat has lovingly donated us the course free of charge for the evening to help our fundraising efforts. This year's main event (discgolfscene.com/st2026) is a B-Tier and a slightly more competitive format than we have offered in the past. In the spirit of Queer Disc Golf's emphasis on FUN, we are putting together an unsanctioned charity doubles event to complement the more competitive nature of the daytime event.

Enjoy music, food and drinks, all while enjoying a fun and friendly glow tournament under the stars and the illuminating BLUE MOON. This event will have the prizing and giveaways that you might expect at QDG events. The Haute Goat Cafe will open serving food and we will have a DJ and beverage cart set up on hole 1.

This is a Flex Event and players can come and play between 6pm-10pm. Every hole will have a prize but please remember that your scores, and CTPS/Longest Putts are in only play for your first play through. You are welcome to play multiple rounds but only your first round counts.

The Competitive portion of the evening will a best shot doubles (with a few tricks up our sleeves. If you do not have a partner and want to play please sign up anyways and leave a note on your registration. We will do our best to pair you up and will make sure everyone who wants to participate can. If you’d like to just come play glow and hang out join the FUN division.

All proceeds from this event will be donated to PFLAG Durham and a small portion of funds raised will support Queer Disc Golf efforts for the 2026 season. Collectively, Queer Disc Golf has supported over $100,000 raised. A milestone number, but one that has taken the support and dedication of our dedicated and passionate disc golf community. Donations from this event will be made in honour of Debbie Nightingale, whose infectious love, warmth and presence will forever be present on the course and farm. Thank you Haute Goat, Tinlid, Innova for the past years of partnership and we look forward to a year to be remembered.
