    - get your three discs, ace pot buy-in, bag with discs raffle, find card mates, etc.
    -The ace pot buy-in is $5 for this tournament. We have the ace pot from the Fairbanks Open to add onto so it'll be a good one!
    -The bag raffle tickets are $5 for one ticket or $20 for five tickets. The raffle is for a disc golf Prodigy bag filled with great discs, a Blackspruce hat and bug repellant socks. All proceeds will benefit the FDGA club and we appreciate your support!

Welcome to the FDGA end of year celebration where we are hosting the Prodigy Birdie Derby! This is a three disc tournament that will be held at Tanana Lakes DGC on September 20, 2025 with a start time of 1:00pm--food and awards to follow.

WELCOME TO THE BIRDIE DERBY

Come one, come all! We invite you to a casual round of disc golf at Tanana Lakes DGC! Show up, get your discs, and play for only $35. The Birdie Derby is the perfect event for anyone and everyone curious about the game of disc golf. Take on the course with just your players pack and see who comes out on top!

TEE TIMES

( 1-ROUND SHOTGUN ) This will be a shotgun start, where players draw a number for start hole and then play the rest of the course from there. We encourage you to arrive around 45-MIN BEFORE TEE TIME to get your discs, flip for cards, draw a number to determine start hole and walk to your first tee box for a 1:00pm start. If players want to make a card of 4, that is ok. We will flip for cards for those who want to play with someone new. An average round can take up to 2-3 hours to play.

Scores will be recorded via the UDisc app. Players can check into the event upon their arrival through the UDisc. If players do not have the app, we will ensure you will be on a card with someone who does. (Those with the UDisc app can manually enter players who do not have UDisc onto their card to keep score.)

There will be prizes for the best score, aces, shots landing closest to the pin and many other fun awards! Stick around and enjoy some food while we put together the awards when the round is finished.

This is a non-sanctioned round, so there’s no pressure. Enjoy a casual round of disc golf with your family and friends or meet someone new!
