WELCOME TO THE BIRDIE DERBY!
Come one, come all! We invite you to a casual round of disc golf at GRP! Show up, get your discs, and play for only $35. The Birdie Derby is the perfect event for anyone and everyone curious about the game of disc golf. Take on the course with just your players pack and see who comes out on top!
TEE TIMES
( 1-ROUND SHOTGUN ) This will be a shotgun start, where players are assigned a hole and play the rest of the course from there. We encourage you to arrive around 30-MIN BEFORE TEE TIME to get your discs and walk to your first tee box for a START TIME start. There will up to 5 players per card. An average round can take up to 3 hours to play.
PLAYERS PACK
As part of your sign up, you get three discs exclusive to the Birdie Derby valued at $50 to play your round with. These discs are some of Prodigy’s most popular plastic blends and models with exclusive artwork.
Meet your teammates:
• Sir Aldric Egghelm is honored to serve you inside and outside the circle on the Prodigy PA-4, a slightly understable putter. It’s designed for all players and skill levels and will turn up when thrown hard, giving it impressive glide, and a gentle turning finish. When putting, the PA-4 is dead straight, so you can put and shoot at the target when hunting your birdies.
• You can depend on Vaeloria Thornbow to get you as close to the basket as possible on any shot on the Prodigy MX-3 Midrange Driver. This slightly overstable, beaded midrange is engineered for high-level controllability and performance, boasting tremendous glide and a reliable finish. This disc also comes in 400 Ultra Soft plastic, so you can depend on this disc to stick and stay when it lands near the basket.
• The Behemoth is ready to soar as far as he can for any player on the Prodigy FX-4, a stable fairway driver. The FX-4 is an excellent first stable fairway driver for any player, with a reliable finish for any arm speed while boasting excellent glide. This disc will catch any eye in 400 Glimmer Plastic
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
There will be podium awards for the top 3 finishers in the Men's and Women's best score, aces, and shots landing closest to the pin. Prodigy BP-2 Disc Backpack to be awarded to top score.
This is a non-sanctioned round, so there’s no pressure. Enjoy a casual round of disc golf with your family and friends or meet someone new!
