OVERVIEW

Welcome to the first annual BIG A.S.S. EVENT!!! A.S.S. stands for Alex's Stupid Studio which is the business that is hosting this event. It is run by us (Alex & Emmalee) and we really love all things disc golf. If you're around Pittsburgh disc golf scene, you may be vaguely aware of our business since we've done some designs for Sam Hockenberry and Camber Disc Golf. We've always wanted to host a tournament but didn't know how so we're teaming up with Sam to help put together a fun event that hopefully can stick around for years to come.

The round is what we are calling a fun-sanctioned round (meaning it is fun and also unsanctioned). There will be a variety of gimmicks and shake-ups throughout the round designed to be fun and give you a chance to play Deer Lakes in a way you might not have played it before. We are currently working on the layout and exact format and will release that closer to the event but I promise it will be interesting and lots of thought will go into it.

TIE DYE BOOTH

Another thing that will probably make this event different from other disc golf events is the Alex's Stupid Studio pop-up tie dye booth! We have a booth setup/system that we've been working on that allows anyone to come up and tie dye a shirt (or other item) of their choosing right on the spot. We have over 20 colors of dye and know lots of patterns so there are really unlimited possibilities. And we will help you along the way logistically and creatively! If you don't want the classic rainbow spiral we will help you come up with another option that you will actually want to wear like camo or red and black or whatever matches your disc golf bag.

One custom tie dye shirt or towel is included with the player pack. It will be for the size that you record when registering. If you'd prefer to make a shirt for someone else, please put their size instead of your own. Also, we will have additional shirts and items to tie dye for purchase at the event so please feel free to bring friends/spouses/kids/neighbors/whoever.

Any groups with less than 2 players on the card will be combined with the next closest card. Walk-ups welcome!

We will also have a small Alex's Stupid Studio merchandise pop-up booth in addition to the classic Camber tournament store table.
