For those that don't know me, my name is Zac and I am a veteran of the United States Army (13b, 2-319th AFAR, 82d ABN DIV). When I got injured in the Army during an airborne training operation, I used disc golf to rehabilitate myself from my injuries. Since then, I have been playing more and more often and decided I wanted to find a way to give back.

With that said, I wanted to put this tournament together to get more veterans playing disc golf! So, it's simple: This is a doubles match of best shot doubles, but there is a small rule change. AT LEAST ONE player on each team has to be either an active service member, retired, or honorably separated from the United States Military.

It will be 2 rounds at Austintown Township Park of best shot doubles. When signing in at registration, both team members MUST be present to sign in, and proof of ID MUST be shown at the time of sign-in. Failure to prove veteran or active duty status will remove your team from the tournament with no refund available.

I am currently in talks with a few different organizations as far as sponsorships, but I believe I have found who we will be donating the proceeds to. More info on that coming later.
