About this tournament

Join us in Manatee County's 2nd ever Sanctioned Tournament The Battle at Bennett and Bray. Tom Bennett park will be brand new to the public open just in time for the holiday season. MCDGA will be hosting a B-Tier the last weekend before Christmas. We really wanna bring something special before the New Year. $3,000 added cash to the pro purse and will be Adding Cash all the way up to the start of the tournament. The Pro divisions will play 3 rds Fri, Sat ,Sun.. Playing for Cash and trophies. Am's will paly two days and receive player pack and will compete for 1st, 2nd 3rd place trophies..All Divisions must have at least 3 people to play..

All Pro divisions will Play Friday. 9 am start

Pool A and B play GT Bray on Sat and Bennett on Sunday

Pool C will play Bennett on Saturday and GT Bray on Sunday

Saturday and Sunday will start at 7:30

Tee pad assignments are as follows

MPO, MP40, MP50, MA1, and MA40 will play longs at both Bray and Bennett.

MA2 will play longs at Bray and shorts at Bennett.

FPO, MA50, MA60, MA70, MA3, FA3, MJ18 will play normal concrete pads at Bray and shorts at Bennett.


Alright guys here’s our OB rules for GT BRAY for the tournament.

1. On and beyond path long ob. Same from long tee with additional mando right.
2. Fence right ob. No long tee.
3. Fence long and right ob and mando right. Same from long tee.
4. Path and beyond ob. No long tee.
5. Path long and right ob. No long tee.
6. Marked ob along entire perimeter off hole. Normal ob rules apply where you cross ob. No long tee.
7. Path and beyond ob and marked ob on the left ob. Marked ditch to right ob. No long tee.
8. Path and beyond ob left. Same from long tee.
9. Path and beyond ob. Same from long tee.
10. Ob water long. No long tee
11. Path and beyond ob. Sidewalk right is ob. No long tee.
12. Teeing from ob. Must cross path or proceed to short tee pad. All concrete is ob. No long tee.
13. Teeing from ob. Must cross road or proceed to marked drop zone. Past fence and path right are OB. No long tee.
14. Played as an island from regular pad. Proceed to drop zone if island missed. Mando right on fence post. Separate long tee is played as hazard. Re tee if you don’t cross road. No drop zone. Play disc where it lies with stroke penalty if not in the island.
15. Water left ob. Sidewalk long ob. Same from long tee.
16. Sidewalk left and beyond fence long ob. Mando left. Long tee is played from same tee to alternate basket along road left. There’s a Second mando on fence by parking lot. Drop zone for second mando missed. Ob and beyond sidewalk left and long.
17. Sidewalk left ob. Same from long tee.
18. Double mando. Proceed to short tee if mando missed. Ob fence left and on concrete pavilion.


Rules for Bennett park

turf tees will be rolled up for tournament, and players will tee from marked grass area

1. Mando left and OB ditch and beyond
2. Island green. All OB tee shots proceed to DZ, after that normal OB rules apply
3. OB ditch on the left, OB water on the left and the painted line on the right
4. Ob over the painted line on the right.
5. Mando left of the palm tree
6. OB path right of path and beyond
7. OB road and beyond on the left
8. Mando left of tree in the fairway. Ob left of painted line
9. Normal course rules apply
10. OB painted line on the left side as well as path and beyond,and fence long and beyond
11. OB path and beyond.Mando Left. Retee if you miss the mando left. Fencline and beyond
12. Double mando, if missed proceed to the DZ which is the short pad.. Ob road on the left and beyond.
13. OB water on the left. Mando's on the right, if missed proceed to the closest DZ to the missed mando.
14. Normal course rules apply
15. OB water and long of basket. From the long tee, OB short in the water proceeds to the short tee pad and OB long proceeds to the DZ. If throwing from the short pad all OB will go to the drop zone and normal OB rules apply after that.
16. Normal course rules apply
17. Ob road and beyond. Mando left. retee if missed Mando
18. Water OB. OB Shots from the long pad proceed to the short pad, OB shots from the short pad proceed to. The DZ, normal OB rules apply after that.
