The Inaugural Bad Rock Chuck Supported by Innova will take place on October 11 at the Bad Rock DGC in Thompson Falls, MT. This will be a PDGA C tier event and also included in the PDGA's Competition Endowment Program (CEP) as a fundraiser for the non-profit organization Project ASCENT and their mission to get kids outside and enjoying nature.
All divisions will play two rounds on the technical Bad Rock DGC, with the exception of Junior divisions who will play 1 round only. Lot's of other games and activities are in the works! Stay tuned for more information on what is promising to be a weekend to be in Thompson Falls!
Sponsorships have been secured and more is on the way!! Watch the Bad Rock Facebook page for more info and recognition of all of our amazing sponsors. Thanks to the support of those great people and businesses, all Amateur and Junior players will receive a Player's Pack valued at over $25 with their entry and both Pros and Ams will have some added cash to their payouts, too!
Because the event is a CEP event, the $15 non-member PDGA fee is waived!! That's right! Non-PDGA members will not be charged an extra fee to play this event! And the $3 PDGA fee will be matched by the event and donated to Project ASCENT. Additionally, 25% of net entry fees will also be donated to Project ASCENT. This equates to a donation of $10 from every $25 entry, $12 of every $35 entry, and $13.50 of every $50 entry to Project ASCENT.
