About this tournament
Welcome to the First Annual Backbone Veteran Open Games. Test your long drive, approach and putting. This is a fundraiser for the Backbone Veteran Open Sponsored by Dynamic Discs at Buttonwood in October.
Cost $20 except for Junior Divisions which are $10 Active U.S.A. Military and Veterans use the -$5 option with registration.
Every player will receive a Waffle Towel from Soar.
1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each division will win a dyemax disc. 1st reg dymax, 2nd junior dyemax 3rd mini dyemax.
Divisions will be: MPO, MP40, MP50. MP60, MP70, FPO, FP40, FP50, FP60, FP70. MJ12, MJ15, MJ18, FJ12, FJ15, FJ18. MA1, MA2, MA3, MA4, FA1, FA2, FA3, FA4. MA40, MA50, MA60, MA70, FA40, FA50, FA60 and FA70
There will be 3 events. Approach, Putting and Long Drive.
The Approach will take place on the football field.
Distances will vary depending on divisions. 100ft-250ft
Each person will throw 3 discs.
There will be a Basket with circles at 10ft, 20ft, 30ft, 40ft and 50ft
Points all 3 discs count. In the (Basket 10pts), (10ft 8pts) (20ft 6pts) (30ft 4pts) (40ft 2pts) (50ft 1pt). Final Points will be 1pt for every person you beat or tied with.
The Putting will take place on the 9 Hole putting course.
You will throw 2 putts at each hole. Holes will range from 15ft-35ft
1 Point per each putt made.
Final Points will be 1pt for every person you beat or tied with.
The Long Drive will take place in the fields next to the disc golf course.
The course will be 150ft wide. Your disc has to land inbetween the lines to count.
When your disc first hits the ground it will be marked there.
Each Player will throw 3 discs. Only your farthest disc will count.
Final points will be 1pt for every person your farther from or tied with.
Final Point Scoring will be all 3 events combined. Each event will be 1pt for every person your beat or tied with. ( Example Player A got 15 points in Approach. Player B got 10pts in approach. Player C got 5pts in approach. Player A would earn 2pts player B would earn 1pt and Player C would earn no pts and so on for all the people in the division.
I will be looking to get a food vendor there also. I will also be needing a bunch volunteers for this event. volunteers will get a towel.

Refund policy
Refund for Backbone Veteran Open Games Sponsored by Dynamic Discs registration. 100% refund before registration closes July 9th 8pm. After registration closes there will be no refund and donated to the Backbone Veteran Open.
