FREE Beginner Clinic: This clinic is open to anyone interested in participating to learn how to play disc golf. This clinic is for NOVICE/BEGINNER players ONLY. The first 20 players to register for in the Beginner (BEG) division of this event will receive a player pack of 3 discs.

Beginner Tournament: Following the clinic all attendees will be eligible to participate in an 18-hole tournament for prizes. Shotgun start. Prizes will be awarded immediately following completion of the round.

About this tournament

This is the grand opening event for the Babcock Park disc golf course. The course is currently playable, but we are working to get additional tee pads and course signage installed. We intend to have tee boxes and signage installed by the date of the event.
This event is also an opportunity to introduce disc golf to those interested in learning how to play. The clinic will be geared toward novice/beginner players- teaching basic rules, and throwing techniques. Experienced players will not be allowed to enter the BEG division. The first 20 people to register for the BEG division AND check in for the clinic will receive a 3 disc player pack. After the player packs are reserved, loaner discs will be available for additional participants during the clinic to ensure that all participants are able to learn basic skills.
There will be a BEG 18-hole tournament following the clinic for those who wish to enter, and participants will be playing for prizes. If you wish to participate in this tournament and do not have personal discs, discs can be "checked out" with a $20 deposit per disc- refundable following the event when the disc is returned.
