About this tournament

Welcome to the 1st Annual Cougar Cup! This BYOP event is a warmup for the upcoming C-Tier, April 8. We are trying our best to raise funds for new baskets on the course, and this is our creative way of doing it.
We will be playing two rounds on the standard 18 hole layout, with the only OB being roads, paths, and water. A caddy book will be published before the event to help clarify.
This is a warmup event, so if you plan to participate in the Cougar Cup on April 8th, you can expect almost the exact same layout and rules. I will be looking out for any feedback you might have just to make the next tournament even better!
This is a non-sanctioned, best shot doubles event. All payouts will be via PayPal. Because the nature of this event is to raise funds, 40% of the entrance fee will be used for payouts, the other 60% will go towards the course.
If are able, please consider donating to the course. You can do so at MVNU.edu/Give . Hit "Give Now", and select "Other" as the give designation. In the description, type "Disc Golf Course". All students here love your support! The better the course we have, the better the events that we can run here, and the more opportunity there is for college disc golf at MVNU!
DIVISIONS
MPA1 - Intended for a team where the highest player rating is greater than or equal to 900
MPA2 - Intended for a team where the highest player rating is less than 900
If you do not have a player rating through the PDGA, check out this article linked below for Amateur divisions. MPA1 is directed for players that fit in or above the equivalent of MA2 or better. MPA2 is directed for players that may fit in MA3 or below. If you have any further questions please reach out! I'd love to help.
