About this tournament

We’re back for the second annual BYOP CTP Palooza at Meadow Park Lake DGC! We’ve added even more giveaways than last year with a disc raffle that will take place after the round. Players are automatically entered into the disc raffle upon registration and will be given 2 raffle tickets each after the round. Players can purchase additional raffle tickets when registering or on site before the raffle begins. Additionally, we are allowing players to purchase mulligans to use in their round before the event. Further details and pricing for raffle tickets and mulligans can be found below.

Different from last year, we are assigning discs to holes for CTPs so you know what you’re stepping up to throw for each tee before the round even starts! The complete list of prize discs is listed below and you can find photos of each prize disc in the pictures page of this Disc Golf Scene tournament listing.

We’re also going to add more focus to the competition side of the event by adding prizes for the top placing teams!

1st Place - Pair of Chris Dickerson Signed and Used Forces + 5 Raffle Tickets / Player
2nd Place - Proto Culprits + 4 Raffle Tickets / Player
3rd Place - Matching Evaders + 3 Raffle Tickets / Player
4th Place - 2 Raffle Tickets / Player
5th Place - 1 Raffle Ticket / Player

Ties in the top 5 will be resolved with a CTP throw-off on hole 1.

Because we are putting more emphasis on the competition side of this event this year, we are implementing some rules and requirements first each pair so the competition will be closer between skill groups:

- Teams must have an average PDGA rating of no more that 930
- Teams that average under 870 rated will start the round with a 4 stroke handicap (-4 starting score)
- Players that have never had a PDGA rating will be assumed to be 870 rated

Mulligans –
Each player has the option to pay for mulligans before the round starts on site or at registration. Mulligans are used individually so each player on each team will have to purchase mulligans separately. Shots thrown as mulligans can be used for Ace pot and CTPs. There is no limit on how many mulligans can be purchased by each player, but they must be purchased before the start of the round.

$2 - 1 mulligan
$5 - 3 mulligans
$8 - 5 mulligans

As mentioned above, there is an optional ace pot that teams can opt in to for an additional $5. If multiple aces are hit during the round, the pot will split between the players that ace. If an ace is not hit during the round, there will be a CTP throw off on hole 1 between everyone in the pot and the pot will be split 50/50 with 50% going to the Tennessee Tech Disc Golf Club and 50% going to the player who wins the CTP throw-off.

Disc Raffle –
Everyone gets 2 raffle tickets with their registration
