This event is brought you by our amazing Title sponsor Da Boss Healing! And made possible by the incredible support of “Enterprise Parks and Rec” and “Visit Enterprise”
Join us for the 2nd annual Aviation Heritage Memorial! The wiregrass and surrounding area is deeply rooted in aviation history. Starting back in March 1910, when the Wright brothers established the Nation’s first military flight school in Montgomery, AL later named Maxwell Field. Today it is an aviation tactics training school for the Airforce. In 1950 the Army began training future aviators out of Fort Rucker here in Dale County.
The LZ is themed after aviation, which is obvious by the memorialized UH1 Huey forever flying over the park entrance. This will be the 2nd annual B tier at The LZ, and weeks after the 2 year grand opening! Registration closes on March 15th for the shirt order to be submitted in time, so don't delay!
All players will be playing 2 rounds shotgun start on their respective tournament 18 hole layout. The course will be tournament ready at least 3 days prior to the event for practice rounds. Minimum of 3 players per division with exception for gender and age protected divisions. It is important to note that the PDGA now requires an active PDGA membership to participate in a B tier event. PDGA membership costs $50 a year, and pays for itself if you play 5 events in a year. (https://www.pdga.com/membership)

- Tournament Stamped Disc
- Event Polo Shirt

Layouts
Gold - Tournament Blue layout plus Gold tees on 5/10/14/LZ/15
- MPO/MP40/MA1
Blue - Tournament Blue layout plus Blue tee LZ hole between holes 14 and 15
- FPO/FA1/MA2/MA40
Red -Tournament Red layout plus PZ hole between holes 8 and hole 9.
- MA3/FA3/MA4/MA50/MA60
Note: The Tournament layouts are slightly modified from the standard course layout. Hole 4 is removed to add a longer tournament pin placement for Blue and Gold layouts on hole 8. Red layout plays to this basket as the PZ hole after normal hole 8. Hole 4s tee serves as the Gold tee for hole 5. The LZ hole will be played by Blue and Gold layouts. Hole 7 will be moved to an alternate location to the right. Hole 17 will be moved to an alternate more difficult par 4 location. Hole 18 will be moved to the island across the street. Tentatively hole 1 will be moved to a further alternate peninsula green pending land use approval. These changes are intended to slightly increase the course difficulty while simultaneously dampening the “home course advantage” for more evened out and accurate ratings for all players.
