Western North Carolina Disc Golf Association is excited to host, for the community and region, a three round B-tier tournament at our three City of Asheville and Buncombe County courses: Richmond Hill, Sand Hill, and Lake Julian.

Course order may change but will be solidified by May 1st.
Divisions assigned to each pool may change based on registration.
Layouts may differ between pools.

Pass Through Fees
$4 from each player for PDGA Fees
$3 from each player goes to WNCDGA, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, to further our mission
~$2-6 (dependent on filed size) from each player will go to Porta John rental fees (Lake Julian and Richmond Hill will have 1 additional Porta John on site) [updated 4/22/26]
$0 from each player for greens fees (WNCDGA's partnership with Buncombe County Parks & Recreation and City of Asheville Parks & Recreation allows for no greens fees).

Amateur Player Pack
Custom Event Long Sleeve Hooded UPF Shirt (see picture tab).

Amateur Payouts
We will be offering Amateur payouts at any of three local retailers: Another Round Asheville, AVL Disc Golf, and Play It Again Sports Asheville.
Because we are offering Amateur payouts, Amateurs may play Pro and elect to receive voucher payout.
100% of amateur net entry will be distributed through players packs and prizes.

Trophies
All Pro divisions with 2 or more competitors will be awarded a First Place trophy only.
Amateur divisions will have trophies awarded based on field size:
1-4 players: First Place only
5-12 players: First and Second place
13 or more players: First, Second, and Third place

Pro Division Cap
Pro Division is capped at 58 (40% of the field)

Layouts
Update 4/24/26: All layouts are posted in the Schedule section!

Playoffs
If there is a tie for first place, a sudden victory playoff will determine the winner. Playoff layout will be same as Round 3 layout.

PDGA Membership Requirement
Per PDGA Competition Manual [5.05] PDGA membership is required.

WGE
The Asheville Disc Golf Summit is proud to support women’s disc golf by offering this event as Women’s Global Event. Per WGE policy, only your first two rounds for this event will be used to compete in the WGE competition.

Hole Sponsorship
18 hole sponsorships will be available for purchase for $75 each. Each sponsor will be recognized on the same hole on all three courses. After registration, please submit your logo graphic to [email redacted]. Hole sponsors who sign up before May 4th will have their logo added to the back of the player's pack shirt.

Volunteers
Interested in getting involved but maybe not play? Submit your name to volunteer. We will need volunteers the week of the event to help prep the courses. We will also need volunteers Fri/Sat/Sun to help with check in, spot on specific holes, fill water jugs, break down courses, etc. We'll reach out after you register to find the best fit. Thank you!

Clinics
WNCDGA is partnering with Buncombe County Parks and Recreation to offer three clinics. Dates are TBA.

Waitlist
Players will be added off the waitlist in the order in which they signed up by each Pool. The Pro division cap of 58 will still be in place.
