The Animal House Open is the first official PDGA tournament at the Animal House private disc golf course in sunny Douglasville, GA. Animal House DGC sits on a 20 acre property and plays through some hilly woods, and around a 4 Acre Lake. It is 18 holes with turf over concrete tees. The course was designed and built in 2023-2024 by Ed Stoutzenberger, Matthew Hill, and Justin Waters.
Divisions will ratings-based, am trophy-only, with RPA Gold Division (970+) playing for cash. All players will play from the same layout.
Trophies will be awarded for 1st place in all divisions. (3 people to make a division) 2nd place trophy will be awarded if 6 or more players are in a division. 3rd place trophy will be awarded if 11 or more players are in a division. Large enough divisions may have additional trophies.
Early registration is available to North Landing Members as a membership bonus with partnership between NLDG and Animal House.
The tournament will be two rounds, with an hour hot dog lunch served up at the Animal House pavilion. We will ask for some sides to be brought at registration. We'll follow up on the sides pre-tournament.
There will be a sweet raffle at lunch. Those who bring a side to lunch will receive two free raffle tickets.
A practice round will be available the day before, Saturday the 8th, from 9am-4pm. The address will be sent out before that weekend via email.
PARKING IS LIMITED! We highly encourage you to car pool with some pals, or you will have to park in an overflow parking on an odd side of the course away from tournament central. First come, first served. We are limiting it to 72 players.
Players pack will be $20 Blast Bucks and a raffle ticket, with the Full Blast Mobile Disc Golf Party Store on site.
