About this tournament
The first tournament at Blimp Base DGC in Tillamook! This is a phenomenal addition to the Oregon Coast and we're thrilled to get this course into the rotation. The Blimp is a tightly wooded course that plays up and down a hill with some amazing elevation shots.
Two rounds of shotgun starts in one day.
The goal for this property was to build a fun, tournament level course on the coast and Slade Sapora, Colin Walker, and the rest of the Tillamook Disc Golf Cub made that a reality. With five par fours and a par five there are plenty of opportunities to score —or get off the fairway and find yourself in a bad spot.
It's coastal vegetation and ferns so we'll be using spotters on nearly every hole. Since we're playing in winter the plant life should have died back a bit but it's thick off the fairway.
Pass through costs: $3 PDGA fees, $5 course fees, and $3 TD fees to cover sanctioning, insurance etc. leaving $39 per player towards player packs/payouts.
