Kick off the year in style at this non-sanctioned Best Shot Doubles event. The Akron New Year's Day Doubles is an annual fundraiser for Akron improvements.

We'll be doing tee times so people can play with groups of their choosing. Up to three teams may play on the same card and a new group will tee off every 10 minutes from 9am-3pm.

All groups will be playing the holes 10-27 short to short, with NO OB and NO MANDOS. Due to the work being conducted on the front 9, we will be forgoing the final 9 in lieu of a Post Round CTP on Hole 1 to 4 basket at no extra cost to all players.

We will have the Lyons Club building so bring something to share for the Pot Luck

Players should Check In at TD Central at least 15 minutes prior to their chosen tee time.

Cost : $50 per team/$25 per player which includes Ace Pot and Post Round CTP

All amateurs will receive either $10 in Play It Again Sports Bucks or $10 in credit to TreeMagnets as their Player's Pack.

Pros will be competing for cash, Ams will be competing for prizes (shirts, hats, discs, and either PIAS or TM credit)

Each $25 Pro Player fee will be allocated as follows-
$5 to Akron tee pad fund
$1 to Ace Pot
$2 to Post Round CTP Prize Pool
$17 to Pro Prize Pool for Round One

Each $25 Amateur Player fee will be allocated as follows-
$5 to Akron tee pad fund
$1 to Ace Pot
$1 to Post Round CTP Prize Pool
$10 for PIAS Bucks Player's Pack
$8 to Amateur Prize Pool for Round One

Lancaster County Disc Golf Club is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.
