Acorn Hill Members Match Play Championship 2024

PLEASE READ THE SECTION BELOW THOROUGHLY!!

• Registration for the Acorn Hill Members Match Play Championship 2024 will be run wide open WITHOUT division caps on the AM or Pro side! The brackets will be built to whatever the capacity is on each division. This decision was made so ALL Acorn Hill Members 2024 and Current/Already Registered 2025 Members will all have an opportunity to get in the bracket.

• You MUST be registered by Thursday November 29th at 8pm to be in the bracket!!

• $25 entry fee per AM Player
• $30 entry fee per Pro Player

• TOP 3 for each division get PAID Cash Prize & the AM and PRO CHAMPIONS will also receive a Trophy!!

• ALL skill levels are welcomed
• Random drawing for bracket
• Bracket drawing will be complete and published by Saturday November 30th.

• Matches can begin play on Sunday, December 1st

MATCHEPLAY
• Players are responsible for scheduling their own matches and playing them in a reasonable time period
• Following the match, please immediately reach out and inform the TD staff of the results!
• Standard match play rules, except there is no pushing to the next hole if you both score the same on a hole
• If tied after 18 holes, you go to sudden death on Hole 1, First Player to win a hole wins
• Winner advances to next stage of the bracket
• Play your match on your own time, at Acorn Hill on whatever the current layout is on that specific day.
• Each matchup is given 10 days to play their match, these can be played at weeklies or on your own time. There must be a witness present (a third person), or can include another matchup.
• Must be flexible & able to work with other’s schedules
• Bracket style / single elimination (there will be an additional match played to determine 3rd Place winners)

• PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT PDGA SANCTIONED BUT PDGA RULES ARE IN PLACE FOR MATCH RULES

• Each hole is worth 1 point. Example: On Hole 1, Player A birdies and Player B takes par, then Player A wins Hole 1 and earns 1 point.
Hole 2, both players par, no points are awarded. Hole 3 is still only worth 1 point. Theoretically you can win your match with a score of 1-0. If you are tied after 18 holes, start the sudden death on Hole 1 & play until someone earns a point/wins a hole.

• PLEASE remember there must be at least 1 witness present & to abide by standard PDGA/Course Rules

Cash prizes will be paid to the TOP 3 FINISHERS!

(cash prizes for 1st - 3rd are subject to change depending on the total amount of players in the field)
