About this tournament

A Shot In The Dark is a one-round tournament in and around the Missouri S&T Experimental Mine! Join us for this unique disc golf experience of an 18 hole temporary layout played at the mine! 9 holes will play inside of the mine and 9 holes will be around the mine property. Players will get a glow-in-the-dark Gateway Discs putter for use during the tournament and an event t-shirt.
This event is a fundraiser for the Missouri S&T Miner Disc Golf Club, your sign-up will help us pay for tournaments and lodging and will go a long way to support our team. Thank you for your support of our club!
The tournament will be a one-round tournament on May 6th, 2023. Rounds will start between 8:30am-3pm and rounds need to be completed before 5pm. Signups for tee times are on DGS. There is a maximum of 5 players on a card. As this is a fundraiser, there will be no payouts but winners and top finishers will receive trophies.
As part of the fun competition, all players will play with only the provided tournament putter. The disc will rapidly beat in from the rough and rocky mine surfaces and we don't want to severely damage your other discs!

At this event, the consumption of alcohol and smoking are both prohibited. All players must wear hard hats that will be provided at the event.
