About the PR Spring Sling: Triples 3-Way Fun
Disc golf was made to be fun—and at Persimmon Ridge, we’re doubling down. The PR Spring Sling is more than just a triples tournament. It’s a full-day adventure packed with personality, laughs, and just the right amount of chaos.
This is your chance to break out the costumes, name your team something wild, and join in on post-round shenanigans you won’t find anywhere else. Good vibes required!
ADVENTURE + FUN = PERSIMMON STYLE! Prizes for these:
- Best Team Name – Bring the puns, bring the weird.
- MFP – Most Fun Player – For the player who brings the energy, the laughs, and keeps their card ballin’. It’s not about skill—it’s about vibe.
- Best Costume – Individual and Team awards up for grabs.
- Longest Throw-In – Bomb it in from deep, walk away with a prize.
- Team Intro Video Challenge – Post a quick video (under 20 seconds), tag @persimmonridgeresort to enter.
- Triples Champs – Score matters… but fun matters more.

This isn’t just a tournament—it’s a celebration of everything that makes disc golf awesome. If you’ve got a crew and a good attitude, you’ve got a shot at glory (or at least a hilarious memory).
Tournament Deets:
-Course of Play REC divisions: BLUE Champ course to long baskets & Original Chillow Yellow 9 hole from Long Pin Positions - with NO OBs (excluding water holes)! There are some RED FLAG Hazards & the usual mandos!
Course of Play, MA2, MA 1 & MPO: GOLD Champ course to long baskets & Original Chillow Yellow 9 hole from Long Pin Positions with NO OBs (excluding water holes)! There are some RED FLAG Hazards & the usual mandos!
-For Team registration choose your division based on THE HIGHTEST RATED player on your team (no sandbagging! this is just a fun event)
-There are 4 divisions: OPEN (PRO), ADVANCED, INTERMEDIATE & RECREATIONAL- you know where you should be so sign up accordingly :)
-$5 per player will go to course fees for this event.
-AMATEUR divisions will pay out the top 45% in each division through the Persimmon Ridge Pro shop. OPEN divisions will pay top 40% through the PayPal account used for registration within 48 hours of event end.
All amateur divisions players will receive a $20 Persimmon Ridge Pro Shop Voucher to "build your own player pack" upon Saturday morning check in. There are many items available in our huge pro shop. Plus, this player pack can also be used toward other course offerings. Feel free to contact Persimmon Ridge regarding these specific offerings. "Player pack voucher" must be used by event end.
Schedule: We will have a brief meeting at 8:30, then shotgun start will take place at 9:00 am. This is a 1 round 27 hole event!
Included in your entry fee is the chance at $100 in store credit for an ace on Hole 1 and a CTP (individual, not team, $25 PR logo merch). Open & Adv compete for one CTP and all other Ams compete for another.

Cancellations more than 3 days in advance from the event will receive a full refund minus a $5 processing and cancellation fee. Cancellations under 3 days from the tournament date will receive a 75% refund minus a $5 processing and cancellation fee. If you fail to contact us to cancel your spot prior to the start of the event, you will forfeit your entry fee for that event. No player's packages will be given to non-competitors in lieu of entry fees or store credit.
