About this tournament
2 rounds of play
The Bradford Sundown Showdown is a very unique event for the Charlotte area. We will start the first round of Captains Choice Doubles in the afternoon during the daylight have a dinner break and the 2nd round will start after sunset. We will offer 3 divisions. MA1, FA1 and Mixed. The Mixed division is for and Male/Female parings. Mixed diviisions will be competing against ma1 for USDGC qualifying spot
For all Divisions:
Glow Players Pack and USDGC medals

Layouts:
Both rounds shorts.
Format:
Split Lie Doubles (You may play from your own lie or your partners lie, you do not have to throw from the same placement)
2026 USDGC Doubles Qualifier
-Top finishing teams will be invited to play in the USDGC Doubles Main Event which launches Championship week in Rock Hill SC. This is your chance as an amatuer to play the famed Winthrop Arena Course decked out in all its USDGC Pageantry.
Only AM Status players are able to qualify for the USDGC Doubles invite.
The following divisions can now qualify for the USDGC Main Event
MA1 (Mixed Amateur 1)
FA1 (Women’s Amateur 1)
MA2 (Mixed Amateur 2)
FA2 (Women’s Amateur 2)
MA40 (Mixed Amateur 40+)
FA40 (Women’s Amateur 40+)
The number of teams that can qualify for the USDGC Doubles Main Event is based on the number of teams that participate in your qualifier. The thresholds are as follows.
Men
1-5 Teams = 1 Team qualifies
6-10 Teams = 2 Teams qualify
11+ Teams = 3 Teams qualify
Women
1-3 Teams = 1 Team qualifies
4-7 Teams = 2 Teams qualify
8+ Teams = 3 Teams qualify
