Welcome to the 3rd Annual Prodigy x NHL Challenge @ MBP — brought to you by Prodigy Disc Canada and the organizers of the Wednesday Night MBP Glow League.
The Prodigy x NHL Challenge is a friendly one-night competition celebrating the sport of disc golf and the officially licensed line of Prodigy x NHL discs. Whether you're a seasoned player or just getting into the game, this is a great evening out on the course!
REGISTRATION / DISC PICK-UP: 6:30–7:00 PM
EVENT TIME: 7:00–9:00 PM
SHOTGUN START — 2 x 9H rounds (18 holes total)
EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE RAIN OR SHINE!
Registration opens Thursday, April 2nd, 2026. Registration closes at 11:59 PM on Tuesday, April 28th, 2026.
This is an unsanctioned singles event — Maximum 45 players. Register early to secure your spot!

WHAT'S INCLUDED:
All registered participants will receive two (2) Prodigy x NHL discs:
1 x Prodigy PIVOT — NHL Team Logo Stamp
Flight Numbers: 3 / 4 / 0 / 0.5
Designed with Prodigy's groundbreaking partnership with the NHL in mind, this new putter features each team's primary logo printed in full colour on colour-matched plastic. The Pivot is a straight-flying, beaded Putt & Approach disc with impressive glide and point-and-shoot accuracy. Its unique straight flight makes it easy to shape your line with minimal left or right movement — a great disc for both throwing and putting, and very forgiving for newer players.
1 x Prodigy A5 — 400 Glow Plastic — NHL Logo Quarter Stamp
Flight Numbers: 4 / 3 / 0 / 2
The A5 is a slightly overstable approach disc that flies straight once it works in. It has a smooth feel, shallow profile, and flat top — ideal for sidearm approaches. It handles torque well and has a mild finish, so it won't skip far from where it lands.

IMPORTANT — NHL TEAM SELECTION:
- When registering, you'll select your NHL team for the Pivot disc using the dropdown menu on the registration form.
- Team selection deadline is April 14th, 2026. Players who register after April 14th will automatically receive a Toronto Maple Leafs disc or other team disc depending on inventory. All team requests for the Pivot subject to availability. Event organizers reserve the right to substitute your selected NHL Team for the Pivot with a different Team if player choices are not available.
- NOTE: The Buffalo Sabres discs are currently unavailable.
DISCS ARE AVAILABLE FOR PICK-UP ON SITE ONLY — Marilyn Bell Park DGC, Wednesday, April 29th, 2026 between 6:30–7:00 PM.

ELIGIBILITY:
All are welcome to play! For your score to count and to be eligible for prizes, you must be registered for the Prodigy x NHL Challenge and use only your provided Prodigy discs during the round.

SCORING:
Shotgun start. Players complete 2 x 9-hole rounds (18 holes total) with all scoring logged on UDisc. All players must mark their discs — this helps identify your disc during play and keeps scoring accurate.

TIE-BREAK:
In the event of a tie, all tied players will compete in a closest-to-the-pin throw-off on Hole #1.

PRIZES:
Prizes will be awarded for lowest score and at least one CTP hole. Prize support provided by Prodigy Disc Canada.

MISCELLANEOUS:
This event is scheduled to take place during daylight hours. Baskets will be lit and glow tape will be provided for disc marking in the unlikely event that the round runs into darkness.

PROCEEDS:
100% of proceeds go directly toward CTP prizing for the Wednesday Night MBP Glow League season.

DISC GOLFER'S CODE:
1 — PLAY SMART — Never throw into a blind area or when players, spectators, pedestrians, or other facility users are within range. Use a spotter.
2 — RESPECT THE COURSE — Observe all posted rules. No littering, graffiti, or abuse of equipment or flora.
3 — REPRESENT THE SPORT — Be positive and responsible. Teach others.

Refund policy
Marilyn Bell Park Glow League is responsible for all refunds and cancellations. Refund requests will be granted up until midnight (12:00am) on April 29th, 2026. No refunds will be issued on the day of the event unless the event is cancelled.
