The first Banging Chains event was created as a fundraiser event for fellow club member Adam Rouse. This year all proceeds will be donated to Brittany Rankin and her family. Brittany's mother, Carline Kerr, recently lost her battle with cancer, and we hope to help ease their families troubles during this time. Brittany and Heath Rankin have played a vital role in GODGC's success over the years from leading the Board, creating many of our events, and introducing countless disc golfers to our family here in Greater Oconee. We thank them for their countless hours and leadership within our community.

This will be a 2 round 1-day event at the Shaver Recreational Complex courses. This will be Bring Your Own Partner Doubles event.

These rounds will be conducted on the Championship course (Shaver Gold) and Shaver OG.

Layout:

Round1 - Shaver Champ Hybrid Layout Pro Pool / White Tee Layout Am Pool (Best Shot Doubles)

Round 2- Shaver OG (Fixed Tee Alternate Shot)

Mulligans will be available for purchase

Raffle will be conducted after Awards.

We will also have a used bin of discs at tournament central available for purchase, if you have used discs lying around not being used anymore and you would like to donate them to this event you can bring them day of or get ahold of the event staff for coordination and pickup ahead of time.

This is a charity event and is non refundable.
