About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Welcome to 2nd Annual Chasing Chains for Charity!
This was previously known as Aaron's Adventures.
Proceeds from this tournament will benefit Dream Factory and the Rotary Club of Penfield.
This is a two-round, best-shot doubles Disc Golf tournament designed to broaden the visibility of local Rochester-area charities, and to help them raise money for local community reinvestment.
The competition will feature two (2) rounds with teams of two selecting a division from Amateur, Mixed, or Advanced.
Note that only Advanced and the top 3 Mixed teams will receive cash payouts.
Caddie book and scoring will be on UDisc. https://udisc.com/courses/shadow-pines-xlAP/layouts/158401/caddie-book
Novice division is 1st round only.
Players pack includes at least a disc and towel with tournament sponsor logos. Koozie and other goodies are provided by our Title Sponsor, FlynnStoned in Baytowne Plaza.
Charities will receive payouts based on total earnings from various sources, including player fundraising, which is strongly encouraged and benefits the teams by enabling stroke subtractions from the team's final score.
For every $100 (rounded down) of fundraising that is attributed to your team, one stroke will be removed from your teams final score. For example, if your team fundraises $655 in donations, then 6 strokes will be removed from your final score.
There is no cap for strokes earned this way.
Additionally, attendees will have day-of opportunities to contribute and win prizes through a 50/50 raffle, an Ace Pool, the purchase of mulligans (max 2 per team, per hole), and raffle baskets for our sponsors!
All Players will receive a players pack valued at $40+!
Current distribution of $60 team registration fees (subject to change):
$15 to Payout
$15 to Event Beneficiaries
$28 to players pack
$2 tournament expenses (rentals, OB paint, flags, water stations, etc.)
