2024 GEORGIA SUPER SERIES EVENT

This will be a sanctioned C Tier

This year's field will be 112 players with pools of 56 & 56 when registration opens. After two weeks (7/30) pool caps will be adjusted if there are open spots in one pool and waitlisted players for the opposite pool. Adjustments will not be made prior to 7/30/24.
We are trying to work a way out with the park to get temp wifi at the course for electronic scoring, if we are able to then we will expand to 144 and go back to tee times on Sunday.

TOURNAMENT FIELD UPDATE
We will not be expanding the field to use tee times on Sunday. The field will remain at 112; however, as I failed to assign one division to a Pool it allowed some to get into the field after the waitlist had started. As such, we will be promoting everyone (14) off the waitlist to a field of 117 and MA40 has been moved from B Pool to A Pool, but we will keep the current cap of 112 players.
Anyone joining the wait list after 1 pm EST 7/30/2024 be aware that it will require the current field to drop to 111 from the current 117 before there will be a waitlist promotion.

Player pack and trophies will be determined by the field / division sizes as of 8/9/24. Due to Pool swap any MA40 signing up after 1 pm 7/30/24, may not receive the same player pack as the rest of the field, as you may be promoted due to withdrawal of Pro not an AM, but will receive something of equivalent value

Day 1: 2 Shotgun Rounds of 18 holes (1 round on each course)

A Pool = Round 1 OG Russell, Round 2 Guidestones
B Pool = Round 1 Guidestones, Round 2 OG Russell

Day 2: 1 Shotgun Round of 27 holes
Both Pools = Sunday 27 layout
OG Russell plus 9 Guidestones holes (3,4,5,14,15,16,17,18,1)
Guidestone # 5 blue tee to Guidestone # 13 basket

Pool A: All Open Divisions (Am divisions may be added after 7/30 if not full)
Update 7/30 = All Open & MA40
Pool B: All Amateur Divisions
All Amateur other than MA40

PAYOUTS
PRO Field will be paid via PayPal. If PayPal email varies from registration email, please inform TD prior to the end of the tournament.
40% of Mixed field will be paid.
100% of FP field will be paid.

AM Field will be paid via voucher, redeemable on-site with Wes Campbell and a
Throw Pink Player Pack
50% of Mixed field will be paid.
100% of FA field will be paid.

Cash CTPs: There will be 3 - $1 CTPs and 1 - $2 CTP for a total of $5.
CTPs will be for SATURDAY AND SUNDAY

Ace Pot is $5 per person and will be for BOTH DAYS.
Ace pot will be chopped if multiple aces are hit. If an ace is not hit during the weekend, there will be a CTP throw off, 50% to closest, 25% to 2nd closest, and 25% to Throw Pink.

Tiebreakers for first place will be sudden death starting on hole 1 OG Russell

Playoff loop will consist of holes 1, 2, 6, & 9 of OG Russell

Tee order by random draw and in the case of a tied hole during sudden-death play, the teeing order for the next hole will rotate from the order used on the just completed hole.

All Mixed divisions require a minimum of 3 competitors.

No minimum requirement for Female Divisions, and no non-PDGA fee for female competitors.

Female divisions will have their own layout.

Waitlist will require full entry fee (refunded 100% if not promoted)
Waitlist will be used in order by pool, except when a FP or FA withdrawal with FP or FA on proper waitlist, then that withdrawal will be filled with an appropriate FP/FA from the waitlist.

TROPHIES
(based on registered competitors as of 8/9/24)
Place for every 4 competitors, up to 12, in a division (OPEN = 1st place ONLY)

4-7 = 1st
8-11 = 2nd
12+ = 3rd

SCORING
Due to the lack of cell and Wi-Fi service at the course this will be a paper score card tournament so please familiarize yourself with the PDGA rules for paper scorecards. Try to bring a pen or pencil with you, we will have pencils at tournament central, but they do not seem to last long regardless of how many we have.

Both GOLD & SILVER level sponsorship come with right to early registration. All sponsor levels, and donations, will come with an appropriate amount of raffle ticket compensation as usual, if we have a raffle again this year.

Elberton Disc Golf Club is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.

8/9 to 8/23 = CTP & ACE + 100% entry minus $10 or CTP & ACE + 50% if no one is on your pool's waitlist.

8/24 to 9/5 = CTP & ACE + 100% entry minus $10 or CTP & ACE + 25% if no one is on your pool's waitlist.

After 9/5 = CTP & ACE + 100% entry minus $10 or CTP & ACE ONLY if no one is on your pool's waitlist.
