We understand that it is not cheap to come to Canmore in June, and have cut our registration fees by $30 from last year for this event. Amateur players will receive a streamlined player pack including only Canadian goods. Expect something different from this low-cost C-Tier.

The 25th Big Bear Classic will use the Canmore Nordic Centre in Division-appropriate layouts. As such, players in Pro Divisions must be current PDGA members. Players in Amateur registrants who are not PDGA members pay a $15 fee to PDGA Canada via the Big Bear Classic.

All Pros (A-Pool) as well as MA1, MA2, MA40, MA50 will play the full course from the turf tees.
FA1, FA2, FA3, MA3, and Junior Divisions will play a shorter version including some natural teepads.

MP/FP60 and all Junior Divisions play afternoon round only on Saturday for 2 total rounds.

All players that park at the Canmore Nordic Centre will require a Kananaskis Conservation Pass which can be purchased here:

https://www.alberta.ca/kananaskis-conservation-pass

Cost is $15/day or $90/year which allows you to register 3 vehicles.

We will run 4 consecutive shotgun starts on Saturday, and 2 on Sunday. Depending on registration, schedules may change from posted times, but times will be confirmed 30 days before the event.

Division caps are in place to encourage competition and pace of play, but are subject to change before the event. Consider adding your name to the waitlist since there will be movement as the tournament fills up. the $10 fee is non-refundable, but we will endeavor to accommodate as many players as possible. Divisions of fewer than 3 players will be absorbed into an appropriate division.
