Welcome to the 2026 The Birdie and The Beast!
Ten years ago, we created this tournament as our Sunday event for Downtown Throwdown weekend, but it has since become a happening on its own!
This year our sponsors are once again Daviston and Gale Insulation who provided the added cash for the Open players and some extra that we are applying towards the Ams player packs, and our first-time tournament sponsor Kastaplast! We decided to go with Kastaplast because, as said, we haven't used them before, plus we know Bergs are pretty popular so this will give everyone a chance to get some more.
So now the details:
PDGA B-Tier
Open: $70
Ams: $55
Trophies available will depend on how many players we have signed up by July 3. First place for all divisions, second place for divisions with at least four players, and third place for all divisions with at least six players. We may get a few blanks so we could have extras available, but no guarantees.
Am player packs:
1 Tournament dri-fit t-shirt
1 Kastaplast tournament-stamped disc
1 Kastaplast player pack including towel, thermos, koozie, and mini
1 Tournament pint glass (has become our tradition now the last few years)
Retail value of about $70
Pool A (Open, MA1, MA2)
Pool B (FA1, FA2, MA3, FA3, MA4, FA4, All age-protected)
