RECENT UPDATES TO THE SDG MINILEAGUE FORMAT:
-Each participant will play one round at each of the following courses: Dief, Reid, and Crickle (Blue).
-Prize payouts have been adjusted to ensure a more balanced distribution across divisions, with a tighter spread between placements.
-Your uDisc round must be played with at least one person who is either: a current or past member of Saskatoon Disc Golf, or a current or past participant in an SDG Minileague.
-Rounds must be submitted through uDisc Leagues.
-If you're playing with people who aren't league participants—or who have already submitted a round for the league this month—feel free to add them to your league event scorecard anyway. The league director will collect all valid scores from active participants. It’s also totally fine if your round includes players who aren’t part of the league at all.
-You can play multiple rounds in a specific league event listing (to facilitate playing alongside others who have not completed their round for the month). If you do have multiple posted scores in a single league event, only your earliest round at each course will count toward your league score. That will be your declared round for the minileague.

The 2026 SDG Minileague's in June and August will have three rounds to be played each month. After the month's rounds, all participants will advance to a final fourth round, competing for prizes against players of similar skill levels.
This league follows a "play-when-it-works-for-you" format. You will play the required four rounds at the designated courses sometime in the month on UDisc Leagues.

Each round must be played with with at least one person who is either: a current or past member of Saskatoon Disc Golf, or a current or past participant in an SDG Minileague.

Scored rounds must be officially declared before the first throw, and rounds must be scored in the corresponding UDisc League Event.

If you're playing with people who aren't league participants—or who have already submitted a round for the league this month—feel free to add them to your league event scorecard anyway. The league director will collect all valid scores from active participants. It’s also totally fine if your round includes players who aren’t part of the league at all.

You’re welcome to play multiple rounds at each course. If you do, only your earliest round at each course will count toward your league score. That will be your declared round for the minileague.

The league director will compile the scores and organize players into final-round groups. These groups will coordinate their own meetup to complete the final (4th) round. After scores are submitted to the league director, gift cards will be awarded to the winners, and sometimes to 2nd place finishers as well.

Final Round Course Locations:
June Minileague: Final round at Diefenbaker
August Minileague: Final round at Reid
(Unless all players in the final group agree to play elsewhere.)

Important Rules:
PDGA rules apply.
-Use standard OB and mando rules at each course (contact the league director if unsure).
-At Diefenbaker, Hole 1’s swamp area will not be played as a hazard, due to inconsistent marking throughout the year.
-If a round is not completed or not scored in the UDisc league event within the scheduled timeframe, the player forfeits their advancement to the final round and their eligibility for prizes.
-Modifications to discs for the purpose of attaching lights (for night golf) are permitted.

Final Round Format & Tiebreakers
-For the final round, all previous scores are reset — only the scores from the final round will determine placement and prizes.
-Prizes and placements are determined within each final card only.

Tiebreakers (Post-Round 3 – To Determine Final Round Cards):
-If a tie occurs after Round 3 to determine final card placement, the tie will be broken by:
-Lowest single-round score from the first four rounds.
-If still tied, use the next lowest round, and so on.
-The player with the better (lower) score will be placed into the more competitive final card.

Tiebreakers (After Final Round – Prize Placement):
-If a tie occurs within a final card for a prize-eligible position, a sudden death playoff will determine the winner.
Example: If there’s a prize for 2nd place and two players tie for 2nd, they will play off to decide who gets the prize.
(Note: This is different from standard PDGA tournament payout rules.)
