The Hellroaring Open powered by Farmers State Bank is a Montana point series event hosted on the 30th & 31th of May in Whitefish, Montana. BOTH DAYS WILL BE SHOTGUN START. SATURDAY PLAYERS MEETING WILL START AT 11:40 AM AND ROUND START AT 12:15PM. SUNDAYS ROUND WILL SHOTGUN START AT 9:30 AM. The award ceremony will be held after the last card is finished on Sunday afternoon.
The tournament has been moved up in the season to give more players the opportunity to play this course without all the brush and undergrowth. May is the prime time of year for the Smith lake disc golf course, and the additional daylight should allow the rounds to start earlier and doubles to play without pushing into darkness.
The tournement will be run as a professional PDGA B-tier and amateur C-tier tournament for 2026. Each player playing professional divisions must have a current PDGA membership in order to play B-tier events.
Smith Lake is a 27-hole mountain disc golf course. The course is a 3.5 mile long hike, and may take up to 4.5 hours to play during a tournament.
Entry fees include bathroom rental, $4 PDGA fee & MT point series fees as determinded by the series director.

Refund policy
Refunds requested 30 days prior to the start of the event will recieve a full refund, less a $10 fee. Refunds requested up to one week prior to the event will recieve a 50% refund. Refunds will only be given if the spot is filled off the waitlist less than 7 days before the tournament. Flathead Valley Disc Golf (FVDG) is responsible for all refunds and cancellations.
