About this tournament
The GCDGC welcomes you to Slippery Rock Park DGC’s inaugural event! We are excited to team up with Gateway to have our first event be a Winter Wizards event!
Winter Wizards is an event where each player will be playing with only the Gateway Wizard for the duration of the tournament.
Each player will receive in their player’s pack - two wizards to be used for the round, a mini set, a $10 gift card to be used on gateway's site (which serves as a basket raffle entry) and more goodies including plenty of CTP opportunities as well as trophy discs!
This will be an unsanctioned event, but we will follow PDGA rules for play.
Each round will play the 9 hole course two times through. Teepads played are based on division:
Alchemists (Novice): Shorts/Shorts
Mages (Female Mixed): Shorts/Shorts
Sorcerers (Intermediate): Shorts/Longs
Warlocks (Mixed 40+): Shorts/Longs
Wizards (Advanced): Longs/Longs
As an unsanctioned event, players should learn towards a higher division suitable to their rating. Additionally, the tournament director has the right to move players up a division if seemed appropriate.
