About this tournament

The 5th Annual Oak Country Club Open presented by Nexus Disc Golf, is a 1-day, 1 round singles event and 1-round doubles event, at Oak Country Club Golf Course in DeSoto, KS. We will be playing on a temporary course designed by Dick Parker.
THIS IS THE COMBINED SINGLES AND DOUBLES REGISTRATION

INDIVIDUAL ROUND REGISTRATION OPENS 9/22/2025
When: Oct. 18, 2025
Check-in: 8 am - 8:45 am
Entry Fees include: 2 Rounds of Disc Golf using a golf cart
$35 of each Singles Entry and $25 of each Doubles Entry will go towards Green Fees and Administration fees per round to run the event.
The remaining entry fee goes towards payout in each division.
Singles Divisions:
MPO - FPO - MP40 - MP50 - MP60 $80
MA1 - FA1 $65
Doubles Divisions:
MPO - FPO - MA1 - FA1 $100/team
Payouts:
Pro Payouts: PayPal or Venmo (Please select which you prefer and what your account is)
Am Payouts: Nexus Disc Golf will handle Amateur payouts. You may go to either store to redeem your winnings.
Full refunds for the event will be available until Sunday, Oct 11th, 2025. Refund requests after date/time will be Entry Fee minus Green Fees. We must pay the golf course 1 week before the event, so that money will not be refundable. No refunds after Oct 15th, 2025.
LUNCH:
If you play both the Singles and the Doubles rounds you will get a FREE LUNCH provided by Chef Lee Killian. Those who only play one or the other may BUY A LUNCH for $10.
This course will be a par 67-68, Championship Level design. It will follow the actual golf course. So each "golf" hole present will have a disc golf hole designed on it in some way.
WHEN YOU REGISTER FOR THIS COMBINED EVENT
Please sign up for yourself and pick a TEAM NAME. You will also be required to pick a Singles Registration. Your partner will also need to sign up and choose the SAME TEAM NAME to put you together. They will also sign up for singles. You will be charged $50 each for Dubs (half the $100/team) as well as your singles registration fee. Make sure you and your partner choose the same hole and cart. I can always move you together if you mess this part up. Starting holes are subject to change
Can you bring your own golf cart?
Yes and No. We have more than enough carts to go around, so there will not be a need to bring yours. If you MUST bring your cart, please clear it with the TD asap. I need a good reason to allow it.

Dick Parker is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. Full refunds for the event will be available until Oct 11th at 8 pm.. All refund requests after that date/time will be Entry Fee minus "Green Fees". We must pay the golf course 1 week before the event, so that money will not be refundable. Wednesday Oct 15th will be the last day for a partial refund. All requests after Wednesday will be denied.
