About this tournament
This is the final event of the season in Conference Play. For the men's divisions 4 Shotgun rounds, 2 on Saturday, 2 on Sunday. About 1 hour of break in between rounds for lunch both days. For the Women's divisions, 3 total rounds, 2 shotgun on Saturday, 1 on Sunday.
Cedarock will be played with the Sneeky Pete Tees. Regulator only has one set of tees.
Round 1 will be a regular college team round (Women's doubles)
Round 2 will be regular college singles (scores averaged for team score)
Round 3 will be best shot doubles! This will be regular doubles for the women, but for the men's divisions, each team will split into 2 pairs (not necessarily the same pairs as in your team rounds), and play the course in regular captain's choice doubles format, in accordance with PDGA doubles guidelines. The two doubles scores will then be averaged and tallied into the total score for your team, similar to the singles score averaging.
Round 4 will be regular college team round
Similar to last year, the men's division 1 will be playing with starting stroke advantage based on the regular season standings. These advantages will be as follows
UNCC starts at -3
NCSU starts at -2
UNC starts at -1
These will be incorporated into the scores after the first day/second round, so scores on the second day are exactly as shown on PDGA live.
These stroke advantages only apply to men's division 1!
Just like last year, all profits from this event will be going straight into a scholarship prize to the winner's of D1 and FD1 singles and teams!
Men's Division 1 will be playing Regulator each round.
Men's Division 2 will be playing Cedarock round 1, and Regulator rounds 2-4
Men's Division 3 will be playing Regulator round 1, and Cedarock rounds 2-4
