$1,000 invitational exhibition skins game. Five of the best and brightest personalities go head to head over 9 holes to take home early bragging rights and a fat stack of cash! A big gallery is expected for what should be a super fun and not to be missed warm up event! One wildcard spot up for grabs! (via raffle)
5:00pm - 6:00pm
Check-In at Event HQ. All players can come and collect merch or vouchers they have ordered. Also all Am players are welcome to collect their player packs. If you can't make it at this time, no worries, just come and collect it on Saturday.
6:00pm - 9:00pm
Event dinner at Beehave Craft Meadery. Come down and hang out with the disc golf family, meet some of the touring pro's and soak up the pre-event buzz! Meal deal, details to be confirmed.

$1,500 'Hole in One' Party. Last year the ace didn't get hit so the prize has jackpotted! Join in on the fun up at the Taupo Golf Club and step up to take your chance to win! DJ, disc vendor stands, food trucks and good vibes.

'Day Two' play. 18 holes, cards of four, seeded within division, tee times from hole 1 at ten-minute intervals. Final round for FA2 and MA3 divisions, followed by their prizegiving.
6:00pm - 8:00pm
Float 'n Soak. The crystal-clear Waikato river and the stunning Otumuheke natural hot pools are right next to Spa Park. Join us in an epic local past-time - just what the body needs after a couple of big days playing disc golf! Bring your togs and towel and meet at Event HQ.
8:30pm - 10:30pm
'Glow Up Night Fris'. For those that can't get enough, the baskets will be all lit up! Come join our local glow gurus for a fun safari tour of Spa. Meet at Event HQ (park outside gate as it gets locked just after 8pm).

About this tournament
Taking place at the world class Spa Park, this 54-hole* event is limited to 150 competitors and will feature the most challenging layout we have ever presented. This is our club's premier tournament, and we are targeting top level players from across both New Zealand and overseas. Accordingly, the registration schedule will be structured using ratings-based tiers.
This Taupō Classic will be played over the weekend prior to the NZ National Championships. If you are travelling to them, Taupō is only 3hrs by road, so why not come a few days early and play both!
Format
All divisions (except FA2 and MA3): 3x 18 hole rounds (same layout) over three days, tee time start.
FA2 and MA3: 2x 18 hole rounds (Blue layout) over 2 days (Saturday and Sunday).
Group 1: MPO, FPO, MP40, MA1 (Gold layout). Par 61, 2404m.
Group 2: FA1, MA40, FA40, MA2, FA2, MA3 (Blue layout). Par 64, 2232m.
Player Pack
All Am entries will receive a player pack. This will have a range of goodies including a tournament disc and a K's Kitchen lunch voucher for use on Monday.
Please note that FA2 and MA3 entry does not include a lunch voucher as we were only able to secure the food truck on site for the Monday, which is after the 2 day event has finished. The FA2 and MA3 entry fee has been reduced accordingly.

Refund policy
100% refund (excluding DiscGolfScene fees) for cancellations before 1 Jan.
50% refund (excluding DiscGolfScene fees) for cancellations between 1 and 15 Jan.
No refunds for cancellations after 15 Jan.
All merchandise orders are non-refundable (we will however make every effort to get these items to you).
